Publisher Case Study: Developer of Lifestyle Content


THE CHALLENGE:


One of America’s leading developers in lifestyle media negotiated a direct deal with a one of America’s leading retail giants during the holiday season. The publisher wanted to test whether calibrating priority against audience would perform better than deals they typically run with other supply technology partners.


THE SOLUTION:


Through an efficient six-step process in JetStream, the publisher was able to generate a Deal ID through the UI and traffic the brand’s campaign, which was hosted in a third party DSP. The publisher was able to set a priority for the target audience segment above the exchange. This ensured the brand got priority for a user above any other advertiser in Sonobi’s ecosystem.


THE RESULTS:


The campaign generated over $90,000 in revenue over a three-month period at a $12 CPM. The publisher was able to allow the brand to win their users more often when a usermatch was observed within JetStream. A traditional SSP did not provide the visibility of audience necessary to allow competitive revenue opportunity with the traditional iOS already being trafficked. Sonobi’s technology powered this.
